Coffee with a friend

Sue Schooley, a fellow LCI, and I caught up over coffee today. And I was able to give her a mini-quilt I made for her using t-shirts she had collected from the annual bike festival that she organizes every year for the city of Roseville. She hung it in her office and sent me a picture.

Babysitting SAC

SAC = Sophia, Avery, and Carson. It was Thais’ company’s Christmas party. Carson tried to sit in the doll stroller, unsuccessfully.Until Big Sister came to help him.Carson’s very patient older brother.

RLEHS Sunday Social

The annual Christmas potluck.Fund-raising raffle prizes.A group from Calvary Lutheran Church lead us in singing carols.And there was a 3-way tie for the Cranberry Throwdown.

Disneyland

Today was much more crowded.First ride – the Haunted House – where we got stuck twice and listened to ongoing repeats of the script.Afternoon parade.The little elf was so cute and frequently chewed on the rope in front of her while the princess in the blue dress pirouetted.

California Adventure

We got in one hour early because we stayed at a Disney hotel, so by 8:20, we’d ridden the Cars ride TWICE!The crowds would arrive later.Street entertainers.The Luigi ride – little cars doing a dance routine to a fun song. Hilarious smile-maker!Air filter swag and crescent wrench stars.Sully!Tower of Terror – another great ride!On the way back to the hotel that evening, our last stop was at one of my favorites: the Legos store!
