After the program was done and the costumes had been returned and hung up, but before church was over, I went out the side door to go to Justin’s for our family Christmas get-together.

I’m helping Bob and Joann Batten at Calvary with the children’s Christmas program on Dec 24 at Calvary Lutheran Church. Joann wrote the story and Bob is working on many songs and solos. I’m working on the costumes – probably a dream job in another lifetime. This is the first of two Saturday morning rehearsals.

Then we drove to Sandy’s for dessert.

Always a fun time. Crostini with ricotta, bacon and honey and Sausage-stuffed mushrooms.

Holiday home tour
Seven homes in my community opened their doors for tours on Wednesday evening. All of them also served snacks and drinks. Adrienne and I walked the route.

I also delivered a felt pennant I made based on a design by Thais. It’s a gift for Sophia’s teacher whose classroom theme is Camp WannaLearn.
