We drove some great back roads to get to our starting point in Sumrall.
From Sumrall to Carson, there’s a separate equestrian path with great signage. Here, it’s on the right:
While much of the trail had woods on either side,
there were open areas of farms and pastureland:
We rode out 15 miles, then came back to Bassfield where there were tables to have our lunch. Our lunches are so much better than the food from most restaurants!
