This was the second year Sophia and Gia put on a golf tournament to support Along Comes Hope, the charity Sophia chose for her 8th grade Arrupe project at St Ignatius. This year the 9-hole scramble was at Campus Commons. Gia’s grandma and I were in charge of selling raffle tickets.
Leo, Charlie, Matt, Jeff. Charlie and Matt are friends and League Cycling Instructors. Jeff is married to Lenin’s sister. Matt was a surprise to see.
After the golf tournament, I went to Carson’s championship Little League game.
Although the Marlins lost, Carson did quite well. He pitched the final three innings and no additional runs scored.
The River Park All Stars played on Sunday and lost. I think the season is over. And, Avery debuted his summer hair style, a 4-hour Friday project with Sophia’s help.
