Huge thanks to Cheryl, Laura, Elaine, and Brenda who rode with me this morning to Sutter’s Landing. The CSUS Renaissance Society has been taking some online seminars with SABA’s mode-shift team, Rob and Hillary, about e-bikes. Today everyone met in person at Sutter’s Landing Park.

The five of us who rode in all have e-bikes and came to provide user feedback to those thinking about buying an e-bike. There were also 3 different e-bikes from SABA’s mode shift program available to test rides. Laura’s (gray jacket) e-bike has a belt drive, which replaces the usual chain. Rob is explaining the difference and advantages.
