Saturday: my cousin Phyllis who passed away in Deer Lodge MT. Today was her celebration of life in Rio Linda where she lived for 75 of her 81 years.

Sunday: we celebrated the lives of my cousin Charles (Phyl’s brother) and his daughter Karen.

In a 7-week span, we lost three members of the Hodel family.

First Buzzardball game of the season. Carson scored the first 2 points.

In the evening we went to Leah and Jeff’s house. Jeff always makes the best prime rib. The gift manager:

I went to the morning program this year. Avery in 7th grade:

at Thais and Lenin’s.

I laughed when I heard several of the boys say the mashed potatoes (my contribution) was a favorite. Amazing what butter, cream cheese, and sour cream can do to a simple potato. And Thais make the best BLT salad – everything from scratch.

I picked up Carson and Avery after school and later took Avery to his piano lesson.

The San Joaquin sectional finals were at Cosumnes River College. Christian Brothers played Vacaville HS.

Sadly, Christian Brothers lost.

Christian Brothers beat Del Oro High School Tuesday night in 3 sets.

While Carson (far left) went trick-or-treating with Zane and Hudson,

and Avery went to a party/trick-or-treating with friends,

Thais, Lenin, and I went to Sophia’s playoff game. Christian Brothers beat Rio Americano High School.
