While Thais was trying to have a conversation with another soccer mom, Carson showed me repeatedly how good he was at crawling behind Mom and over her purse … much to my delight, but maybe not his mom’s.

Justin’s birthday was actually yesterday.

I think Sophia and Avery each played 4 soccer games today, at separate fields.

I picked up Sophia and Avery from school Tuesday and Thursday and took them to soccer practice. Avery at 4:00, Sophia at 5:00.

I spent some time with Sophia, Avery, and Carson the past couple of days.
Avery built quite an elaborate fort in the living room. He showed me all the passageways and pop-up-to-look-around spots.
Carson loves to blow bubbles

Thursday. We’ve been seeing a lot of commercials on tv promoting the movie Christopher Robin along with a simple recipe for Hundred Acre Honey Bark.Ready for a 4-hour wait in the freezer:Later in the day, they played cats. Avery was a cougar, which he explained is a kind of mountain lion.
Friday. I was very curious how much of the Hundred Acre Honey Bark was left. I was hoping to get a taste. So I checked the freezer right away. Oh … not that good. LOL!

The air today was awful. There is so much fine ash falling from all the fires, especially from the Mendocino Complex Fire in Lake County. We stayed inside. Avery using his feet to play a game!
