On Tuesday, Terri, Elaine, and I had dinner out.

Up early for a one-hour drive to Howard Park in Ione for Party Pardee, an annual bike ride organized by Bike Hikers.

The 65-mile group had a start time of 7:30. My group, riding the 26-mile route, left at 8:30.

Rest stop #1.

In the distance, Lake Camanche.

Rest stop #2. Except there wasn’t a second rest stop on the 26-mile route. Oops, I missed a turn. If I continued, I would end up riding 65 miles.

Nope. 31 miles – that was enough. I got a ride back to the start with the sag support guys. The other passenger in the back seat with me lost a cleat on one shoe, her ride was over also.

The after-ride meal.

I walked with my plate until I found … Becky! We haven’t seen each other in years. So fun to catch up.

A stroll through the vendors including Gina – Gadget Girl Goods.

A live band.

Great event! Thank you Bike Hikers.
Cindy, Terri and I went to B St Theater on Easter Sunday afternoon

to see Cosmo St James is Dead and Someone in This Room Killed Him. The play was quite good, funny, and there was audience participation. The set design was excellent.

After the play, Terri and I went to Ink – a former tattoo parlor, now a popular restaurant.

Cheryl and I rode to Bryte Park on Sunday morning. We were so happy to find bike valet parking and Yoshi was happy to park the first two bikes of the day.

We had a great lunch from Chando’s food truck and rode home. A great day for a bike ride.
