On Monday, Lennore and I drove to Justin’s and parked in his yard. We rode to Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland. It was walnut gathering season on many of the roads. Semi’s driving loads of walnuts from the orchards to the dryer or from the dryer to the next step in the commercial process. We stopped to check out a tree-shaker.
It seemed crowded to us. A long slow line at Mrs B’s Bakery but worth it,
and school groups wearing same-color t-shirts.
Cooler temperatures today, low 70s, great ride, 26 miles.
