Love my bicycle friends who keep showing up on the first Friday of the month.

In the afternoon I prepared some materials for an event – Sammi’s Circuit – at Greer Elementary. Thank you online resources for being able to easily translate my simple questions into four languages – Spanish, Dari, Pashto and Farsi.

However, there was a miscommunication about arrival time. BarbaraL and I arrived to see everyone (except maybe the guy on the phone) focused on Sammi’s motivational introduction before the activities began. Oh well.

On my way to City Hall.

Officially I am now past-Chair Hodel. My final responsibility was to present the 2025 annual report from the Active Transportation Commission to the Personnel and Public Employees Committee. The preliminary step before it goes first to the budget committee and finally to City Council.

Thais and Sophia flew to Austin TX on Thursday for a volleyball tournament. On Saturday morning, I went to Carson’s basketball game. After the game, Lenin left for a golf trip for a few days and I helped out for the next day and a half.

In the evening, I was introduced to .. something I would never choose to watch at home.

Charlie always keeps a watchful eye.

Sunday. Carson had flag football at Jesuit at the same time Avery had to be at St Ignatius for Mass followed by Open House and Arrupe Marketplace.

The artisan bread was delicious. I bought 3 loaves. The 8th grader on the far right sold delicious bbq ribs.

Carson’s 4th grade classroom.

Carson’s Mission San Fernando Rey de España.

Auntie Leah helped get Carson from football to basketball. I went for the first half ..

then went to the airport to pick up Thais and Sophia.
