ELPAC testing

We were at Hagginwood and Kohler this week.At Kohler, I got my own little space which meant I could give the test in a normal voice instead of a loud whisper which is what’s needed when three of us work in one large room.

Whipped cream

I’m not sure. Does Carson like to have whipped cream squirted into his mouth?Squirt #2:Squirt #3:The cap is headed to the top of the can. No more, Carson. Not what this 2-year-old wanted to hear:
How to keep this grandma laughing!

Baseball and basketball

It was opening day for Arden Park Little League. While trying to find Thais or Avery, I heard, “Hi, Grandma Arlete!” Leo! – cousin of Sophia/Avery/Carson. A week or so ago, I heard the same shout at the grocery store. Leo was shopping for dinner with his dad. Always a big smile and fun conversation.Avery will be on the Durham Bulls:There was SO much candy thrown from the floats. Kudos to these two who went after the bend-and-crawl pieces.Later in the day, Sophia played her last Upward basketball game:Mr Adorable:

ELPAC testing

Adrienne, Linda and I have worked the past two weeks at various schools. We ended our week at Hagginwood Elementary. When I took the tests back to the office at the end of the day (to be locked up in a secure place!), three boys were telling the office receptionist about the problem one of them had. In the background a couple of office staff were doing their best to stifle laughter. The receptionist took the tests from me and asked, “How am I going to tell his mother that he has poop in his pocket?”
