I picked up Avery and Carson after their sports camps at Jesuit. We pick up something for lunch, went home, and each of us settled into individual activities. I was counting on this time so I could continue to read the Staff Report – a total of 387 pages! – for tonight’s Active Transportation Commission meeting. Then Carson asked, “Grandma, can we play a board game?” Not a difficult decision. First game:

Then a new one for me, Catan. Carson won.

And a bit more time to keep reading the Staff Report. I left in time to get to City Hall by 5:00, the meeting started at 5:30.
It is nice to know you’re still alive.
You must also be alive – good to know.
That I am. Thought you would like to know, you’re going to be a great grand mother. Tried the number I had around Mother’s Day. I didn’t get a response. Must be old. Anyways, hope all is well with you and the family. Believe it or not, I do miss all of you. Hell I even tried to text Justin LOL. Probably good there was no response. Anyways, stay safe and I’ll keep watching from the shadows.
Good to hear from you. Your news came at a funny moment that led to seeing a great picture from long ago. You will see the blog post. My number (best to text or leave vm) and email address haven’t changed. Are you still in Montague? Last card was returned with no forwarding address.
