Billie took me on a different route today, around the airport,
and back to downtown where I bonked (a cycling/running term that means to reach a point of exhaustion that you can’t go on). I woke up this morning with a sinus infection. I thought I could finish the ride, but things only kept getting worse. My face hurt. I sat on a bench at Market Square and waited for Billie to get the car and come pick me up.

Last time I commented, nothing happened. Fingers crossed for success this time. Just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying my armchair discovery of West Virginia. It looks like an exquisite part of the USA. It’s always a relief to see you pull into a lovely eating house for some sustenance. In my book, that would make the hard work all worth while.
Hello Marion, so good to hear from you. Virginia and W Virginia are so beautiful, so green. I must say I felt like I earned a good downhill run on the Creeper Trail after climbing up. The majority of riders are toted to the top and coast downhill. I think I appreciated the trail more. Hello to Darren and Haruka.
