A little spin around a dirt track:Good contact with the ball!And then there’s usually a pause while the batter (not just Avery, all of them) watches where the ball is going, meanwhile the crowd and the coach encourage the batter to “RUN!”

Today’s task was to take dinner to Sophia who was participating in a week-long musical production at St Ignatius. The Missoula Children’s Theatre was presenting Rapunzel.Then Avery and I waited for Mom to arrive. Avery entertained me with all his best moves.

After basketball game #1 and the Little League parade, it was off to indoor soccer,followed by St Ignatius basketball.After a mishap that resulted in tears, I asked Avery if some chocolate milk would help. We walked over to Starbuck’s. As it turned out, chocolate milk AND a brownie was the best cure.

One sport rolls into the next. Basketball is coming to an end, time for t-ball for Avery.Teaching my grandchildren to check the back seat for their belongings before I leave – the pile of things I found today. Including a piece of chewed gum in a crevice =(

While sitting on the bench:

First came Avery’s basketball practice. Warming up with jumping jacks:Dinner at home afterwards.Dessert at Leah & Jeff’s:Apple pie from Freeport Bakery and Salty Caramel Cupcake Entremet from Ginger Elizabeth.

Score!I probably take 20 pictures of each game, hoping to get one that’s good enough to publish. Today, I had so many good ones of Sophia.
