SAC

No school this week. A great time for Grandma to help out. Actually Sophia helped me out me rearranging the towels in the laundry room:

We checked a newly opened nearby park

and played Cover Your Assets.

Too much fun!

Soccer soccer

Friday evening, Carson. He reacts to the whistle a bit faster than his teammates and goes on the attack.

On the sidelines, Thais, Leo, Sophia, and Avery:

On Saturday afternoon, I got to see Avery play. I’ve had too many Saturday obligations lately and haven’t been able to see him play.

SAC

SAC is what I put on my calendar when I get to watch Sophia Avery and Carson when Mom and Dad want to go somewhere – something I encourage of course. This evening Carson wanted to play this game. We read the directions and played by the rules. Carson was so focused, you could see him thinking, we played for 1.5 hours.

Time for rougher play:

Karen and Greg

The venue at Scott’s Seafood was great.

The reception was held in the nearby big tent.

Jerry, Justin, and Jennifer:

What a great wedding and reception. So much fun. Congratulations Karen and Greg.

Busy week

On Tuesday, I did a solo bike ride to try a revised Wide Open Walls ride. I started at 4th & G Sts in W Sacramento where I’ll meet a group from Washington Commons Co-housing for a downtown ride in a couple of weeks.

I refined the route and took some pictures of some nearby murals from previous years:

Wednesday was Better on Bikes meeting 3 online.

On Friday morning I went into the Jibe office to edit the next Better on Bikes presentation. Editing on their computers has had better results than editing on my computer (Apple) and sending to Jibe’s computer (PC). In the late afternoon, I went to Carson’s soccer game. He told his mom he planned to make six goals.

Halloween costume done …

Avery and I consulted on this year’s Halloween costume about a month ago. He wanted to be this anime character:

Not sure what’s going on with this character’s left arm, but I was able to figure out the light lavender vest. Also requested, a black cape.
