Darn, I didn’t feel well and couldn’t go to the celebration, but Thais and family came by afterward with leftovers, flowers and cards.

I picked up Sophia, Avery, and Carson after school. Carson gave me a tour of the newly-planted garden

and showed my how big Rusty the gecko has gotten. The dark blue lips are from a tootsie pop – with a center of gum.

Sunday afternoon, Carson had a baseball game. He likes the pitcher position, there’s a lot more to do.

A mid-inning need for Mom’s help when his belt needed tightening.

Everyone was hitting quite well off the pitching machine. This would be a double for Carson.

Meanwhile, in the stands, one of Carson’s friend – Zane – came over to visit with Sophia.

On Saturday, everyone came over for dinner at my house. I made lasagna and a maple walnut 3-tiered cake. Maple candied walnuts between the layers and on top.

#14 for Sophia who is in 8th grade and going to Christian Brothers High School next year. Jeffery is a sophomore at University of San Diego, Lauren is a junior at St Francis. Avery is in 5th grade, Carson in 1st. Brooklyn, the youngest cousin, is in kindergarten.

Avery competed in three events. I didn’t see him do the shot put.

In the morning, Elaine, Terri and I worked the intake table at Bike Doc which was at Four Seasons Westshore. We finished in time for me to go to Carson’s Little League game.

Sophia is in 8th grade and just a few months away from high school. Today was her confirmation.

Today, after school and before baseball practice, Avery and Carson got hair cuts.

We are near the end of basketball season. This was one of the semi-final games at Our Lady of Grace in W Sacramento.

On to the next sport: Little League practices have already begun.
