Brenda, BarbaraL, Maria, Laurie and I drove to Saugstad Park in Roseville to start today’s ride.
5 miles of beautiful trail to Sierra College Blvd, then we took roads to Loomis and had lunch at
Great ride. 32 miles.
City Council – ATC
Tuesday: a special meeting of the City Council to vote on the design to pursue for the Truxel Bridge. By a 3 to 2 margin, active transportation supporters wrote e-comments and spoke in person encouraging Councilmembers to vote No vote. Many residents north of the river (South and North Natomas) want and have been asking for a no-car design to be considered.
Thursday: Active Transportation Commission.
Around Lake Natoma
Brenda, Lori, me, Maria, and Laurie met at Sacramento Bar Park to start our ride around Lake Natomas.
We took a detour to explore part of the Johnny Cash Trail.

I led a ride to the Sacramento Zoo for Jibe to the Sacramento Zoo. Eighteen people showed up! The pre-ride chat:

This was a pretty good wrestling match for quite a long time. Neither would let go of the sloth.
Thursday at Merrilyn’s
Cheesy artichoke dip and Savory thumbprint cookies – the red is hot pepper jelly sitting in a Parmesan shortbread coated in finely chopped walnuts.
Ebike donation
Jibe donated five ebikes to the N Natomas Public Library.
