A stare-down for the final bites of a burrito. When I asked Carson to hang on while I grabbed my phone to take a picture, he wanted to know why I wanted this particular picture. I told him about the blog, that I like to post funny things that happen when I come over. This stare-down was today’s funny moment.
Later, “Hey Grandma, take a picture of this. Put it on your blog.”
I met a few people in the morning for a 16-mile ride stopping at various points to discuss upcoming projects, problem areas, and other bicycle infrastructure.
Terri was unable to go with her daughter Sarah to the Music Circus. Lucky me, I was able to fill in for her. We arrived just in time for a beverage before the curtain went up.
Thursday August 3. Me, Cheryl, Jane, Kathy on the Garden Highway – a very big paddlewheeler sitting and decaying on the bank of the Sacramento River just south of Riego Rd. It was once owned by John Wayne.
