Linda and Ann invited me to go with them to the Harris Center on Sunday afternoon to see the Pops Chorale holiday performance.

A small world connection: Becky (a bicycle friend who also helps gather, crack and shell walnuts) and husband Charlie work behind the scenes with managing the business side of the Pops Chorale. Excellent performance.
For four years, the first Friday in December was Arlete’s BIG year-end party. I made large posters with cycling achievements and insisted on making all the appetizers. Arlete’s BIG ended: no more weekly emails or tracking everyone’s miles .. every day .. all year long. This year, everyone brought something to share – what a relief. One thing stayed the same: the refrigerator was stocked with Fat Tire. I love my bicycle friends!
Terri invited Elaine and me over for Steve’s most-delicious margaritas.
Not just margaritas: we also had chips/guacamole and chicken tacos.

Dog Mom won the Comedy Festival last year, was on stage this year at B St, and scheduled for production in several cities next year. The actors portraying the dogs were hilarious. Best play at B St so far!

Sunday afternoon. While Sophia (and Mom) hosted a Friendsgiving celebration at home and Dad and Avery were in San Jose for a volleyball tournament (which they won), I had the good fortune to take Carson to his basketball game.
8:30a Sunday, cold and foggy, as I waited for Brenda to meet me at Peregrine Park for the ride in.
The starting point was Old Soul in Liestal Alley.

We started with 26 but finished with 12 at Cantina Alley in Jazz Alley.

Thank you Sarah and Brett for inviting me to Bourbon Night. Knowing nothing about bourbon and surrounded by connoisseurs, I asked for a bourbon that a novice might like. Angel’s Envy was a very good choice.
