A game on Monday.
On Wednesday, Sophia went to her first AAU basketball practice at St Francis.
Avery’s baseball practice started at the same time and, thankfully, was only 2 miles away.

Heritage Park Safety Fair
I represented Jibe at this event. Heritage Park is a 55+ gated community with 965 homes (twice as big as my 55+ community).
It took place in the ballroom. About 30 vendors were there.
The crowd is about to arrive.
Surprise: Leslie Weisgerber was there helping her daughter-in-law Alexandra who works for the Alzheimer’s Association.
TGIF
At Four Seasons Lodge tonight. I worked with Steve and Teresita:
Our theme was Little Irish Pub. Steve shared some interesting information about St Patrick’s Day and I made a LOT of Scotch Eggs.
We had a really good turnout. And I didn’t have to take ANY eggs home. Whew!
I was so happy Ade drove out to join in.
ELPAC testing
Another week at Del Paso Elementary. The testing is still slow but is moving along smoothly. By Friday, second grade was done and we’d started first grade.

When madness sets in
In the game Ravine, if it’s time for a health check and you only have one heart, you must draw a Madness card. You might have to hug and not let go of the person on your right until someone else (me) helps you out (right after I take a picture).
Or have a thumb wrestling contest. The loser loses one heart.

ELPAC testing
Twin Rivers USD invited retired teachers to come back to test students at grades K-6 on the English Language Performance Assessment for California (ELPAC). We were trained on Monday, I started working on Wednesday at Del Paso Heights Elementary, but had a slow start because of logging-in issues. By Friday, things were moving smoothly.
Thursday at Merrilyn’s
on Wednesday. Prosciutto blue cheese crostini and Sausage pizza dip – and for a change, red wine.

Jibe Ride-Along
This morning, beginning at 6am, I rode the Midwest route for Jibe Express three times to downtown and back. This is my favorite route because it picks up quite a few people in front of Four Seasons Westshore. 
I handed out muffins, reminded riders of Jibe services, and took suggestions, comments, compliments, etc. By far, most of the compliments went to Juan the driver. He knows everyone’s name and maybe a little something that’s going on in their lives.
