5 bridges ride

A great 37-mile ride this morning in perfect weather with Laurie. We rode the Sacramento River Trail except for a section along Riverside Ave where I discovered something new (to me) – Kobasic’s Candies – a 3rd and 4th generation of small-batch fine chocolate and candy makers. Now I have to go back when they’re open.

Jibe’s fleet of bicycles. At the end of the day, we stack all the bikes, run a cable through all of them, and finish with a strong u-lock.

Great day with good friends and co-workers.

Learn 2 Ride

At Miller Park. Every class, there is a fun experience and success. This participant learned quickly, in about 45 minutes.

She was so happy as she pedaled away. I told her mom, she must be a fun kid to raise and was a great example of “squealing with delight.”

Lots of cyclists ride through our teaching area along the Sacramento River Trail. This morning, friends stopped by to say hello. Laurie, Brenda,
