Translation: City of Sacramento Councilmember Lisa Kaplan came to Four Seasons Westshore to meet with residents. Rainy night .. maybe that kept some people at home?

Thank you Terri for coming and keeping me company (and taking this picture).

Ride around the airport

This was a farewell ride, sort of. Dani and Kathy are moving to Roseville. Today we did one of our favorite rides – around the airport. A rest stop at Teal Bend Golf Course.

After the ride, we had cake and ice cream at my house. And Brenda’s birthday is tomorrow. Brenda, Brad, Sandra, Milan:

Maria, Laurie, BarbaraL, Dani, Kathy:

22 miles.

Learn 2 Ride

Kathy and I weren’t sure who would show up today. Sharmaine and De’Veona came back .. with a new bike. After practicing for a while, I rode with De’Veona up and down Miller Park, about 2.5 miles altogether. Great progress.

Grandparents Day

at St Ignatius. Waiting for the 8th graders to come out and meet their grandparents or special friends,

then to Mass in the church.

Third grade plus Carson’s 4th grade class form the choir and put on this mass. Carson had one of the readings.

Afterwards, we went to lunch at Cafe Bernardo.
