We boarded a hop-on-hop-off bus for a tour of the city.

Locals call this building “the toaster.”

The green building is called “the pencil sharpener.”

An up-close view of the Basilique Notre Dame Fournaviere, often referred to as “the wedding cake” or “upside down elephant.”

Nearby a tower to rival the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Best imagined far away, the closer you got, the less it became a rival.
