Ride to Sutter’s Landing Park

Huge thanks to Cheryl, Laura, Elaine, and Brenda who rode with me this morning to Sutter’s Landing. The CSUS Renaissance Society has been taking some online seminars with SABA’s mode-shift team, Rob and Hillary, about e-bikes. Today everyone met in person at Sutter’s Landing Park.

Wearing the hoodie, Deb Banks .. then Rob, Hillary, and Anne Geraghty:

The five of us who rode in all have e-bikes and came to provide user feedback to those thinking about buying an e-bike. There were also 3 different e-bikes from SABA’s mode shift program available to test rides. Laura’s (gray jacket) e-bike has a belt drive, which replaces the usual chain. Rob is explaining the difference and advantages.

First day of spring

Temps have reached the 70s, trees are flowering, bikes are eager for a spin. This bike especially, I prefer my e-bike.

Flowers blooming at Teal Bend Golf Course.

Carrots sprouting in the bathroom.

Tuesday at 8:06 pm, Spring officially arrived.

Lake Wildwood

Sunday afternoon, I drove to Penn Valley

and met Tim and Maria at the clubhouse after their round of golf. Lots of friends to visit with and I got to see Leslie – Maria’s oldest daughter – and son Liam!

A band played on the patio.

I worked at reception for Bike Doc:

This was the first Bike Doc of the season. Anya from Jibe was there to see how the new Inflation Station was going. Coletha and Diana stopped by also.

Robert and Dennis getting ready to leave for the day. All equipment: tents, tools, tables, bike stands, etc are carried in the trailer and towed behind Rad e-bikes. It is a heavy load.

Robert and Pierson then rode back to the Jibe office for storage.
